UCR eLab: Academic Research Survey Site
I received an email from a research associate at the University of California at Riverside. He requested that I let you know their research center is looking for new members. They don’t pay cash because it is academic research, but they do offer another form of compensation in the form of drawings for cash prizes.
That’s as good as many other sites that offer only sweepstakes chances. And since it’s for academic purposes, I think it’s worthwhile to do.
The research associate wrote that they are building up the eLab consumer panel and are trying to find people to take part. The surveys and experiments they present will be about how people behave in the digital world. They intend to present the experiments and surveys only a couple of times a year. (That makes it a pretty small investment of your time.)
As a participant in the eLab panel, you will have the chance to win cash prizes. To sign up, click on this link to the UCR eLab website http://elab.ucr.edu/elab-global-panel.html.
When I visited the website, I liked the layout and found it easy to use. It says they have a monthly drawing worth $100, in addition to Research Study Prizes that are drawn and rewarded for each study.
This is original research using Web-based surveys and is being presented by faculty and graduate students of the University of California at Riverside. The results of this research will be published in academic journals. To me, this sounds like a neat thing to be involved with!
