Top 25 Survey Sites – Harris Poll Online Makes Final Cut

Harris Poll Online makes the list of top 10 survey sites regularly – mainly because of name recognition. Everybody has heard of the Harris Poll; they are, after all, one of the most well known, well respected and established marketing firms in the world. People are constantly trying to join this one, but they don’t have a referral program very often. It seems that they are usually full of members. When need arises for a particular project, the participants are pulled from the pool of available survey takers at random.

I joined six months ago and have been sent 2 to 3 surveys per month. After registration, I completed the basic informational introductory survey. Since then I usually get surveys about movies, product testing, and election/ political issues. They said 1-2 extra ones on special characteristics like chronic illness sufferers would be sent if you qualify, but I didn’t kind of relieved I didn’t, actually. I’d rather have my health!

The bad news is once again the amount of points paid per survey and their corresponding value. HI points, as they are called, are given for completed surveys (by the way, the good news is that most of these only take about 10 minutes to complete) Normally you will be awarded about 50 points per survey, plus a 100 point bonus after your third one. (

These points can be redeemed for gifts and gift certificates, but you do have to take an awful LOT of surveys to get enough points for a $5 gift certificate. I haven’t reached that point yet, but I’d be interested in a report from someone who has.
