Opinion Square: A Survey Site Review

This is one of those sites that wants to put tracking software on your computer and I just don’t go for that. After reading their promises about nothing bad happening with this software and then sleeping on it for a few days, I finally went ahead and did the download. This says a lot for the good things I’ve heard about the site. It takes a lot to get past my paranoia!

Nothing bad did happen, other than I didn’t sleep so well until I removed it after about a month. After I deleted it, they continued to send me surveys just like before, so I’m really glad I didn’t keep the software download any longer.

Other than the required download and the fact that Opinion Square is a “points for prizes” survey site, they seem to be OK. The prizes they offer seem to be of better quality and value than many of the other prize awarding sites.

When I’ve been working away on one of the sites that only offer prizes, I’m usually glad to finally reach the point where I have the prize in hand. Then, when I discover it’s of inferior quality, I really become irritated. I believe in quality pay for quality work. That includes taking surveys. If you put yourself into a survey, like they want you too, I believe you should be paid accordingly.

This isn’t one of my favorite sites; but it’s definitely not one of the worst, either. If you want to give it a try, I’d say go for it. Be sure to let me know how it works out for you!
