Online Paid Surveys: Ups and Downs
After doing online paid surveys, I’ve learned there are ups and downs involved. No two weeks are ever the same. One week I’ll get a survey or two paying cash or gift cards, and the next I’ll get ten opportunities to enter a sweepstakes.
I think I’ve been in every sweepstakes imaginable and have never even heard of anyone actually winning one. I’m sure you’ve had similar experiences if you’ve done any survey work at all. If you’ve ever heard of anyone winning one of these sweepstakes, please let me know; I’m becoming skeptical… or is that cynical.
This week it seemed every email I got was for a cash paying survey! I actually received offers for 3 that paid $20 each. An unheard of event, but I sure hope it continues. I qualified for 2 of them and chose not to participate in the other.
One of the $20 ones was from Greenfield Online – it was an interactive survey. They generally schedule for a specific time slot and last about an hour. These are pretty good – just make sure you have a quiet place to take the survey!
The other $20 survey I accepted was from Survey Savvy. In the beginning, I rarely heard from them, but now, I’m participating in a forum which pays a $10 gift certificate every month., not to mention this one that they just sent.
Lightspeed also sent me a $20 opportunity this week, BUT they wanted me to download something onto my computer that would track my credit card and credit card purchases. I did think about it for a couple of minutes, but I am just too paranoid. If any of you signed up for this one, please let me know how it works out!
As you can see, I did have a great week this week. Of course, we all know that depends on what the companies need each week. There’s no predicting it, ever, and I sure hope this run of good money paying surveys continues.
